Company Background
The Computer Broker commenced trading in April 1995 initially dealing in used and
end of line computer hardware.
During late 1996 the company started selling product directly to the public via its
first website and in late 1997 it switched the emphasis to new computer hardware and
manufacturing computer systems.
By late 1998, having outgrown the old premises the operation was moved to Washington
Way. Computer Future Ltd commenced trading in 2000 and The Computer Broker
specialised in retailing ex-lease product.
In late 2004 the strategic decision was made to merge the retail side Computer
Future with the Computer Broker to provide a one stop shop for all our customer's
needs, from brand new technology to ex-lease systems. This freed up
Computer Future to specialise in Network Infrastructure Support.
During November 2008 both companies relocated to 76 Thackeray Street, a building
which was customised for us with better access and more customer parking.
Testimonials
"The consistent proactive helpfulness of all the staff is commendable. It emanates a sincere good feeling to be dealing with your company."
"The staff really had a friendly & professional manner, which is what made our final decision to purchase from you! We will be coming back for more purchases."
"I was told that you provide a good and speedy service and I was very pleased with the whole transaction. Would advise anyone I know who was thinking of upgrading / buying a computer to contact you first."
"Really refreshing to have a salesperson listen to my requirements instead of telling me what I should have! The technical assistance is top-of-line from what I have experienced in the past!"
"After visiting several computer outlets to source a PC I would rate The Computer Broker 'Top of the list'. Although not a first time computer user I had very little knowledge of PC's and appreciated the considerable time your staff spent answering queries regarding hardware & software options. I did not experience this at other outlets. I would recommend Computer Future to other people."
"All services are always above expectations. The Computer Broker is a pleasure to deal with."
"Staff did really well even though I purchased an inexpensive system. It runs very well and I am pleased with its performance."
Community Support
Since our inception it has been the company's philosophy to involve itself in charity work. The company is always looking for worthy causes as a way to put something back into the community and by donating computers we are making a contribution in social and economic areas that haven't been fortunate enough to experience technology.
Through our own Charitable Trust; The McPhail Foundation we have helped a number of recipients including The Champion Centre, The Salvation Army, Child Hope, Primary and Secondary Schools as well as underprivileged families. You can help as well by donating that old, unwanted computer or printer. These are then refurbished and donated.
Our Philosophy
Our goal is to provide outstanding service while maintaining highly competitive
prices and quality computer hardware and support. If any problems or issues arise, we
strive to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. We are totally committed to our
customer service.
We support all products we sell and we offer a comprehensive before and after sales
technical service. If we consider a product to be inferior, of low quality or low
performance, you will not find it on our website, or on our shelves.
